Abstract:
A method for repairing surface cracks of shaft parts, comprising: firstly cleaning a shaft part and carrying out flaw detection to measure the crack depth thereof; repairing the shaft part if the measured crack depth does not exceed 500 microns, otherwise scrapping the shaft part; then repairing cracks of the shaft parts with the crack depth not more than 100 microns by a pulse current discharge method, repairing the shaft parts with the crack depth between 100 microns and 500 microns by a laser cladding method, and applying ultrasonic vibration to the cladding layer during cladding. In the present invention, a pulse current discharge method is used to repair cracks the depth of which does not exceed 100 microns, expansion of cracks is inhibited, and cracks are eliminated in the initial stage; for cracks the depth of which is between 100 and 500 microns, using a laser cladding method for repair and applying an ultrasonic vibration to a cladding layer during cladding can not only effectively vibrate residual micro bubbles in a molten pool, but can also refine grains of the cladding layer, allowing the grains in the cladding layer to be more uniformly distributed; in addition, compactness is greater, cladding quality is higher, and the reliability and effectiveness of crack repair are higher.
