Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for refining carnosic acid by means of molecular distillation, the method comprising the following steps: (1) the hydrotropy of carnosic acid: taking a product with a low content of carnosic acid and adding a hydrotropy agent to dissolve same; (2) dehydrating and degassing by means of first stage thin-film distillation: adding the carnosic acid, to which the hydrotropy agent has been added, into a first stage thin-film distillation column for dehydrating and degassing by means of first stage thin-film distillation; (3) second-stage molecular distillation and separation: pumping a dehydrated and degassed liquid into a second-stage molecular distiller for second-stage molecular distillation and separation so as to obtain light and heavy components, wherein the light component is a portion containing part of the carnosic acid; (4) third-stage molecular distillation and separation: pumping the heavy component of the second-stage molecular distillation into a third-stage molecular distiller for third-stage molecular distillation and separation so as to obtain light and heavy components, wherein the light component is carnosic acid. The present invention has the characteristics such as short operation time, low production intensity, low energy consumption and low production cost, and at the same time, the product has a high purity and easily realizes continuous industrial production.
