Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an N-substituted amino acid-containing peptide and a method for producing a protein binding factor using the peptide. More specifically, the present invention pertains to a peptide containing at least one residue of an N-substituted amino acid wherein the N-substituent is not a methyl group. The present invention also pertains to a method for synthesizing the aforesaid peptide that interacts with a protein, said method comprising acquiring the three-dimensional structure data of the protein, identifying an interaction region depending on the three-dimensional structure data, designing the peptide capable of binding to the interaction region, and then synthesizing the peptide thus designed.
