Abstract:
Various embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and a device for providing an utterance by an intelligent assistant. The electronic device therefor may: obtain a user utterance command; determine the type of uncertainty of the user utterance command; analyze context of the user utterance command by using additional information on the basis of the type of uncertainty; determine, on the basis of the context, at least one of a device and an action to carry out the user utterance command by using a predetermined reliability; and generate a follow-up utterance on the basis of the predetermined reliability.
