Abstract:
Provided are: a method for producing a polycarbonate resin in which a monomer component including an alicyclic carbonate is polymerized by using a flow reactor; and a polycarbonate resin which includes a structural unit represented by formula (1) (in formula (1), A is an optionally substituted divalent alicyclic moiety), has a weight average molecular weight Mw of at least 50,000, a molecular weight dispersion degree (Mw/Mn) of 1.00 to 2.20, and contains components having a molecular weight of at most 10,000 in a proportion of at most 1.0%.
