Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a method for producing an emulsion, the method being reduced in burden to the process and the environment and yielding a polymer which does not change in physical property and can be stably stored over a long period. [Solution] A method for producing an emulsion by emulsion-polymerizing a monomer in the presence of a medium and an emulsifying agent, characterized by including a polymerization step and a polymerization termination step and in that a reaction terminator including an aromatic ring and having a particle diameter (d50) of 200 μm or smaller is added in the polymerization termination step.
