Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing vinyl chloride composite resin particles which have improved impact resistance, flexibility, film formability, water resistance, adhesiveness and the like. The present invention also addresses the problem of providing vinyl chloride composite resin particles which enable a latex thereof to have excellent storage stability, and enable a coating film thereof to have a low water absorption rate. The above problems are solved by a method for producing composite resin particles, wherein: monomers that are mainly composed of vinyl chloride monomers are polymerized in a first stage (step 1) and monomers that are mainly composed of acrylic monomers are polymerized in a second stage (step 2) in multiple-stage emulsion polymerization; and a redox type polymerization initiator that contains a polymerization initiator and a reducing agent is used in the step 2.
