Abstract:
Provided are: a method which is for producing a cellulose acylate film and with which a film with a reduced amount of residual solvent and a reduced amount of elution can be produced with good productivity even if the film is relatively thick; and a cellulose acylate film. A cellulose acylate film (23) is produced by a method for producing a cellulose acylate film, the method having: a casting step in which a dope (14), containing cellulose acetate (11), a sugar ester derivative, and a polyester represented by a specific formula and having a weight average molecular weight of 50,000 to 100,000, is cast onto a support to form a cast film; and a peeling step in which the cast film is peeled off from the support.
