Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application are a method for processing an optical transport network frame, an apparatus and a system. The method for processing an optical transport network frame comprises a plurality of steps. A transmitting device uses a first mapping mode to map a first optical service unit frame into an optical transport network frame. The transmitting device uses a second mapping mode to map a second optical service unit frame into the optical transport network frame, the types of the second optical service unit frame and the first optical service unit frame being different, or the types of services carried by said two frames being different, and the overhead information corresponding to the second mapping mode being at least partially different from the overhead information corresponding to the first mapping mode. The transmitting device transmits the optical transport network frame. By means of the abovementioned steps, the method for processing an optical network frame reduces the processing complexity of mapping low-rate optical service unit frames into high-rate optical transport network frames. Optionally, the transmitting device maps a low-rate optical service unit frame into an optical transport network frame by means of an intermediate frame.
