Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for preparing and purifying a CBD monomer from flowers and leaves of industrial Cannabis sativa. The method comprises: subjecting Cannabis sativa to high-temperature decarboxylation, followed by extraction with ethanol to obtain a Cannabis sativa extract, decolorizing and winterizing the Cannabis sativa extract, performing a decarboxylation step again for further decarboxylation, and then performing molecular distillation to obtain a CBD-rich oil, performing preparative chromatography to obtain a CBD oil, and finally performing a crystallization step to obtain pure CBD. The CBD monomer prepared by the method disclosed in the present invention has extremely high yield and purity.
