Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for preparing a hydroxyalkanoic acid and lactic acid, comprising the steps of: hydrolyzing a hydroxyalkanoate-lactide copolymer in the presence of an alkali metal salt, thereby preparing a hydroxyalkanoic acid inorganic salt and a lactic acid inorganic salt; and purifying the hydroxyalkanoic acid inorganic salt and the lactic acid inorganic salt by means of electrodialysis, thereby preparing a hydroxyalkanoic acid and lactic acid.
