Abstract:
The present invention provides a use of a pure iron-based matrix for the preparation of a diamond tool bit and a preparation method for a diamond tool bit. According to the present invention, a diamond tool bit prepared from a pure iron-based matrix manufactured by iron powder having an average particle size of 1-25 μm is used in different scenarios. The present invention reduces a moving distance of iron ions by using the iron powder having an average particle size of 1-25 μm, such that the activity of the iron powder is greatly improved, thus facilitating improving the hardness and strength of the diamond tool bit and increasing a holding force and wear resistance for diamond. In addition, the present invention also simultaneously controls a hot pressing sintering temperature of the diamond tool bit at 700-860°C and a pressureless sintering temperature at 900-960°C, so as to control a reaction speed of the iron powder and the diamond, so that the iron powder can not only be bonded with diamond by chemical bonds, but also not cause excessive carbonization of the diamond that affects the strength of a diamond tool bit, thereby obtaining a diamond tool bit featuring excellent comprehensive performance and low prices.
