Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a printed seamless can, the method comprising: a step for forming a print layer by applying a print ink composition on an object to be coated; a step for forming a coating film by coating the print layer with an overprint varnish in a wet-on-wet manner; and a step for baking and curing the print layer and the coating film, wherein the print ink composition contains a resin, a pigment, a solvent, and a dinonylnaphthalene sulfonic acid metal salt represented by general formula (1), and the contained amount of the dinonylnaphthalene sulfonic acid metal salt in the print ink composition is 0.1-2.5 mass%. (In general formula (1), M represents at least one selected from calcium, zinc, sodium, barium, and magnesium, and n represents a number identical to the valence of M).
