Abstract:
Provided is a method for manufacturing a press product with which moldability can easily be improved. The present invention is a method for manufacturing a press product for forming plate material (10) into a final component shape (12) by press forming, wherein the method includes a preforming step (1A) for manufacturing an intermediate component (11) by preforming the plate material (10) into a preform shape and a main forming step (1B) for press forming the intermediate component (11) into the final component shape (12). In the preforming step (1A), at least part of a region (20) to be formed by the main forming step (1B) is made to be a preform region (20B), and a concavo-convex pattern wherein one or more types of unit shapes (15), which are formed from curved shapes deformed in the direction of plate thickness, are repeatedly disposed oriented toward one or more directions along the plate surface is preformed in the preform region (20B). In the main forming step (1B), press forming is performed in a direction making the depressions and protrusions of the concavo-convex pattern smaller.
