Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a method for manufacturing a power generation element, a power generation element, a power generation device, and an electronic apparatus with which it is possible to stabilize the amount of power generated. [Solution] A method for manufacturing a power generation element that does not require a temperature difference between electrodes during conversion of thermal energy into electric energy, the method characterized by comprising a first electrode forming step for forming a first electrode 11, an intermediate portion forming step for forming an intermediate portion 14 including a solid insulating layer on the first electrode 11, and a second electrode forming step for forming a second electrode 12 on the insulating layer having a work function different from that of the first electrode 11, wherein the intermediate portion 14 includes nanoparticles immobilized in a state of being dispersed in the insulating layer.
