Abstract:
This method for manufacturing a pouch container A1 comprises: a step for preparing a first film member 1 that includes a section which is to be a top gusset portion 10 of the pouch container A1; a step for preparing a tubular second film member 2 that includes a section which is to be a body portion 20 of the pouch container A1; a step for forming an annular top seal portion; a step for forming an auxiliary seal portion 45; and a cutting step for cutting off, from the first film member 1, the section which is to be the top gusset portion 10. The cutting step includes processing to form a cut portion CP that intersects the auxiliary seal portion 45 and that passes through the first film member 1, a first subsection 22A, a second subsection 22B, a first main section 21A, and a second main section 21B. Such a configuration makes it possible to improve the external shape of the pouch container while maintaining its airtightness.
