Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a paper lid for a food container and a paper lid for a food container, and the purpose of the invention is to manufacture a paper lid capable of covering a food container with paper of a predetermined thickness, wherein, by improving the edge structure of the paper lid, a state of being more firmly adhered to a curling part (a reinforced edge) of the food container can be maintained and the strength can be significantly increased. To this end, the method for manufacturing a paper lid for a food container, according to the present invention, comprises: a blanking step of tearing off lid-molding paper having radial wrinkles on the edges from base paper coated with a synthetic resin on upper and lower surfaces; a first molding step of pressing the lid-molding paper while applying heat thereto and molding a cover plate and a paper lid that is downwardly bent along the edge of the cover plate and has a skirt wall; and a second molding step of, while forming a guide part for guiding coupling with an upper portion of the food container by bending a large-diameter portion of the skirt wall to be outwardly inclined toward a bottom end while applying heat to the paper lid made in the first molding step, molding a curling contact part that can be tightly wrapped around the reinforced edge of the food container from the outside by curling the upper end of the guide part inward so as to have a semicircular round cross-section.
