Abstract:
[Problem] To realize a method for manufacturing a hub unit bearing with which it is possible to increase processing efficiency of a crimping part. [Solution] In a state in which a hub wheel (22) is positioned so that the center axis of the hub wheel (22) is parallel to or coaxial with a reference axis C, and in which the hub wheel (22) is held so as to be capable of moving in the radial direction, a mold (31) having a rotation axis α inclined relative to the reference axis C is rotated about the reference axis C while the mold (31) is pressed against an axially inward end section of the hub wheel (22), whereby the axially inward end section of the hub wheel (22) is processed by a crimping part (26).
