Abstract:
This method comprises: a measurement step for measuring vertical warp of a glass original plate 3 when the glass original plate G suspended and supported in a vertical orientation is cut in the vertical direction by means of a severing device 3; and a changing step for changing the configuration of the severing device 3 on the basis of the measurement result in the measurement step. As the change in the configuration of the severing device 3, the relative position of a rear surface support member 12 or a pressing member 13 with respect to the glass original plate G is changed.
