Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for manufacturing carbon nanotube twisted yarn, comprising the steps of: drawing carbon nanotubes in sheet form from the ends of a carbon nanotube forest to obtain a carbon nanotube sheet; twisting the carbon nanotube sheet and then performing a temporary twisting step of untwisting to obtain a carbon nanotube linear body; and twisting the carbon nanotube linear body to obtain carbon nanotube twisted yarn, the number of twists during temporary twisting of the carbon nanotube sheet in the temporary twisting step being 300 to 5000 times/m inclusive, and the number of twists during twisting of the carbon nanotube linear body in the step of obtaining the carbon nanotube twisted yarn being 900 to 5000 times/m inclusive.
