Abstract:
A method for improving the durability of a cast-in-place concrete structure in a tidal range zone of a marine environment. Different types of concrete are used for an outer layer and an inner layer of a cast-in-place concrete structure, wherein the outer layer is made of corrosion-resistant concrete, and the inner layer is made of high-performance concrete; moreover, simultaneous pouring and curing construction are carried out for the different types of concrete of the inner and outer layers of the structure. By using the corrosion-resistant concrete prepared from a cementing material such as sulphate cement, an erosion-resistant admixture, and metakaolin, the concrete has excellent characteristics of high early strength, good anti-scouring performance, a low water absorption rate, and good chloride ion penetration resistance, etc. such that the durability of the cast-in-place concrete structure in the marine environment can be effectively improved, and a structural durability problem caused by early erosion by seawater is avoided.
