Abstract:
A method of designing the airframe shape of a supersonic aircraft according to one aspect of the present technique involves: obtaining the equivalent cross-sectional area distribution of the initial shape of the airframe on the off-track; setting the target equivalent cross-sectional area distribution of the airframe on the off-track for reducing sonic boom, on the basis of the obtained equivalent cross-sectional area distribution; and reading and adding, as the required, additional cross-sectional area of the cross section of the airframe on an on-track Mach plane of the airframe located in the vicinity of the off-track Mach plane, the required additional cross-sectional area of the cross section of the airframe on an off-track Mach plane that passes through a position in any airflow direction, on the basis of the required additional cross-sectional area distribution that is the difference between the equivalent cross-sectional area distribution and the target equivalent cross-sectional area distribution.
