Abstract:
A method for controlling a heating device, and a heating device are provided. A heating device, according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, comprises: a heating module; a display; a short-range communication module; at least one memory for storing one or more instructions; and at least one processor. By executing the one or more instructions, the at least one processor establishes, on the basis of receiving a user input to turn on the heating device, a short-range wireless communication connection through the short-range communication module with an exhaust device disposed on a flow path away from an exhaust opening, and drives the heating module. Thus, by transmitting operation information to the exhaust device on the basis of the established short-range wireless communication connection, the processor can control the exhaust device to perform an exhaust operation.
