Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure are a method for communication, a terminal device, a network device, a computer-readable storage medium, and a computer program product. In the method, a first communication apparatus receiving a first threshold, the first threshold being used for determining whether the confirmation information of a message 4 (Msg4) during a random access process between the first communication apparatus and a second communication apparatus is repeatedly transmitted; and the first communication apparatus executing the random access process on the basis of the first threshold. Thus, by means of the first threshold, the times of transmission of the confirmation information of the Msg4 are controlled so as to save transmission resources, thereby providing higher flexibility for transmission of the confirmation information of the message 4.
