Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for selecting a policy control function (PCF) in a wireless communication system supporting interworking between different networks, and according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method performed by a session management (SM)-PCF in a wireless communication system supporting interworking between a first network and a second network comprises the steps of: receiving a request message for a session management policy modification, the request message including information related to a radio access technology (RAT) change of a user equipment that moves from the first network to the second network, from a first network entity that has received a PDU session establishment request from the user equipment; determining whether a PCF used in the first network for the user equipment is used in the second network; and transmitting, to the first network entity, a response message including related information associated with a user equipment policy, on the basis of the determination.
