Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application are a method for processing slice configuration information. A controller may determine slice configuration information of each of at least one link included in a first packet forwarding path, and send a routing control message, which comprises the slice configuration information of each link, to a network node in the first packet forwarding path. Compared with issuing slice configuration information by means of a network configuration, issuing slice configuration information by means of a routing control message causes slice configuration information to be issued more efficiently, thereby improving the efficiency of a network node receiving the slice configuration information, and correspondingly improving the efficiency of the network node performing service forwarding on the basis of the slice configuration information. Particularly in a protection path switching scenario, by means of the present solution, a network node can switch a service to a backup path for forwarding as soon as possible, thereby reducing service interruption.
