Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for automatically configuring microphone directionality on the basis of estimating the location of a user or an object by using a hearing aid. A method for automatically configuring microphone directionality on the basis of estimating the location of a user or an object by using a hearing aid according to an embodiment may comprise the steps of: estimating, through a sensor unit of a hearing aid worn by a user, the direction or location of the user or estimating the direction or location of an object communicating with the user; and automatically changing beamforming for microphone directionality on the basis of the location of the user or the object.
