Title:
METAL-ORGANIC FRAMEWORK
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2024/095863
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a metal-organic framework (MOF) which readily adsorbs a target substance even when under relatively low pressure. The present invention is a metal-organic framework constituted by specific organic ligands and specific metal ions, wherein: the ratio (maximum pore diameter L/minimum pore diameter S) of the maximum hole pore diameter L and the minimum pore diameter S determined by using the procedure in (a1) to (a3), below, is 1.0 to 2.0; and the decomposition start temperature is greater than 200°C. (a1) A crystal structure determined by using X-ray crystallography is represented by a space-filling model, the presence or absence of through-pores is observed under prescribed conditions, and a through-pore Pmax, which serves as the maximum diameter of an inscribed circle, is identified. (a2) The maximum length within the inner diameter of the through-pore Pmax in a prescribed cross-section of the through-pore Pmax is sought, and the maximum pore diameter L of the through-pore Pmax is identified. (a3) The minimum pore diameter S is identified in the cross-section in which the maximum pore diameter L was determined.
