Abstract:
The present application relates to a master-backup switching method and apparatus, a computer device, a storage medium, and a computer program product. The method comprises: when a master-backup switching condition is satisfied, determining an idle time period when a service packet is sent by the current master server; and starting and completing the master-backup switching at the idle time period when the service packet is sent. By using the method, a device receiving the service packet can be shielded from the master-backup switching process, and the master-backup switching is avoided at the time of sending the service packet, thereby improving the reliability and stability of the system corresponding to a master/backup server.
