Abstract:
A masker sound generation device (100) comprises: an acquisition unit (110) that acquires a collected sound signal generated through collection of sound by a microphone (11); a detection unit (120) that detects, on the basis of the collected sound signal, a noise level in a sound collection space in which the microphone (11) is disposed; a first generation unit (140) that generates a first masker sound signal in accordance with the noise level; a second generation unit (150) that generates a second masker sound signal having a sound pressure higher than that of the first masker sound signal in a frequency band higher than a first frequency; a synthesis unit (160) that synthesizes the first and second masker sound signals and generates a synthesized masker sound signal; and an output unit (170) that outputs the synthesized masker sound signal to a loudspeaker through which sound is emitted to a sound emission space.
