Abstract:
A magnetic resonance weighted image synthesis method and apparatus based on a variational autoencoder. The method comprises the following steps: step S1: acquiring real magnetic resonance weighted images having multiple contrasts and a magnetic resonance quantitative parameter diagram by using a magnetic resonance scanner; step S2: forming a magnetic resonance weighted image; step S3: constructing a pre-trained variational autoencoder model having encoder and decoder structures; step S4: obtaining a variational autoencoder model; and step S5: synthesizing the magnetic resonance weighted image and the magnetic resonance quantitative parameter diagram into a second magnetic resonance weighted image by means of the variational autoencoder model. According to the method, a variational autoencoder model is used and trained by using magnetic resonance weighted images having multiple contrasts, thereby obtaining continuous distribution of approximate contrast information, so that the variational autoencoder model can reconstruct a magnetic resonance weighted image that is not present in training data.
