Abstract:
In a tool holding portion (40a) of a machining tool (10), a cartridge (48) is provided so as to be movable forward and backward. A cam (50) accommodated inside a cam accommodation portion (40b) rotates while the cam (50) is in abutment against the cartridge (48) to thereby move the cartridge (48) forward and backward. A rod (54) which moves forward and backward inside a tool body (40) along an axis (a) is provided with an abutment portion (54a). The abutment portion (54a) abuts against an abutment position (51) of the cam (50) according to the forward and backward movement of the rod (54) to thereby rotate the cam (50). A restriction mechanism (56) is capable of adjusting the phase of the cam (50) when the abutment portion (54a) is apart from the abutment position (51) so that a reference position is reached where the abutment position (51) faces the abutment portion (54a).
