Abstract:
The present invention provides a machining device that can perform chamfering with a high level of precision. A machining unit (13) is provided to a distal end part (12a) of an arm (12) of a polyarticular robot (11); the machining unit (13) is provided with a copying roller (57) as a roller that comes in contact with a copied part (Wd) of a workpiece (W), and a rotary tool (41) for making the distance to the copying roller (57) match the width of the workpiece (W) (the width of a belt-shaped part (Wc)) and having an axis line (41a) extending parallel with an axis line (57a) as a support axis of the copying roller (57); and the rotary tool (41) is provided with a cutting blade (41b) or blade parts (73, 73) as chamfering blades.
