Abstract:
A machine tool according to the present invention comprises a tool spindle device that uses a replaceable spindle head tool to execute first system processing in a first workpiece spindle device which rotates and holds a workpiece, and second system processing in a second workpiece spindle device which rotates and holds a workpiece, the machine tool performing drive control of each of the devices by a control device, wherein the control device has a tool management processing unit that calculates the total usage time of the spindle head tool on the basis of the first system processing or the second system processing executed by the tool spindle device, stores said total usage time as first tool management data or second tool management data, and also rewrites the same total usage time in the other of the second tool management data or the first tool management data.
