Title:
METHOD FOR PRODUCING SiO2-CONTAINING MATERIAL IN WHICH RAW MATERIALS CONTAINING SiO2 ARE DIRECTLY JOINED
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2024/071055
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem]The present invention addresses the problem of providing a concrete substitute that does not use cement, which discharges a large amount of carbon dioxide in the manufacturing process. Also, the problem addressed in addition to providing such a concrete substitute is to provide a sand substitute material of arbitrary properties by appropriately separating and curing tetraalkoxysilanes from a raw material containing SiO2. [Solution] An SiO2-containing material can be obtained efficiently in the form of a cured product or a gel in which SiO2 are directly joined to each other by mixing an SiO2 raw material, represented by sand or gravel, coal ash, biomass combustion ash, etc., into an alcohol compound such as ethanol. The production method of the present invention can also provide a sand substitute of arbitrary properties by separating, concentrating, and curing tetraalkoxysilanes in a suitable concentration from a raw material containing SiO2 and adjusting the particle size by grinding.
