[Problem] To provide a luminous body capable of changing color in response to emission (ON) or non-emission (OFF) of ultraviolet light, in particular, a watch component provided with the luminous body, and a watch provided with the watch component. [Solution] This luminous body is provided with a phosphorescent material and a fluorescent material. The phosphorescent material and the fluorescent material both emit light when light having a wavelength of 315 nm or more and less than 380 nm is shone onto the luminous body. Thereupon, the light emitted from the phosphorescent material and the fluorescent material mixes and is emitted from the luminous body. Next, when the state in which the light being emitted from the phosphorescent material and the fluorescent material is mixing and is being emitted from the luminous body transitions to a state in which the light having a wavelength of 315 nm or more and less than 380 nm is not being shone, only the phosphorescent material emits light. In addition, the watch component is provided with the luminous body, and the watch is provided with the watch component.
