Abstract:
[PROBLEM] To provide a non-woven fabric having high rigidity and being excellent in shielding property and filter characteristics and a filter being reduced in the deformation by the resistance of a fluid during filtration operation and a filter which exhibits good performance in knocking off dust therefrom, long filtration life, high filtration accuracy, and good balance of performance capabilities. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEM] A laminated non-woven fabric which has a polyester non-woven fabric at least as one surface thereof. One embodiment is a polyester based laminated non-woven fabric, wherein a non-woven fabric (A) having a fiber diameter of 7 to 15 μm and a weight of 10 to 100 g/m2, a non-woven fabric (B) characterized in that it comprises a sheath-core composite fiber having a fiber diameter of 20 to 50 μm and containing a sheath component of a low melting point polyester having a melting point of 110 to 250°C and a core component of a polyester having a melting point of 180 to 300°C and has a weight of 15 to 270 g/m2, and a polyester non-woven fabric (C) having a weight of 30 to 200 g/m2 are laminated in one piece. A filter prepared by a method comprising subjecting the above laminated non-woven fabric to pleating or the like and using a flame-retardant non-woven fabric in a filtration surface.
