Abstract:

The present invention relates to a low-power electric meter remote reading system, wherein a reading device connected to an electric meter in a wired manner stores electric energy amount information for the electric meter according to a COSEM communication protocol at preset intervals, and, if a user terminal requests reading information for reading periods matching the intervals, then the reading information can be generated and provided in a manner not following the COSEM communication protocol.
