Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a lock-catch retaining device and a connector assembly, which are used to ensure the cooperation of a plug and a socket. The lock-catch retaining device comprises: a base body, and two plug arms connected to the base body, wherein the two plug arms extend from a side face of the base body in a plug-in direction of the lock-catch retaining device, and front ends of the two plug arms are connected by a crossbeam; and fixing parts, wherein the fixing parts are L-shaped and are symmetrically arranged on both sides of the base body, and a guide groove is enclosed by inner surfaces of the fixing parts and side faces of the plug arms, and the guide groove extends in the plug-in direction of the lock-catch retaining device. A guide groove and a guide rib match to facilitate the plugging of the lock-catch retaining device and a socket, a wall body on two sides of the guide groove is respectively enclosed by inner surfaces of fixing parts and inner surfaces of plug arms, such that the wall body can prevent foreign matter from entering a connector, and the effect of preventing foreign matter is thus achieved.
