Abstract:
A local heat treatment method for regulating a residual stress by primary and auxiliary heating. A primary heating belt is applied to a weld seam to regulate the microstructure and hardness of the weld seam, so as to make the structure uniform and regulate a microscopic residual stress. An auxiliary heating belt is applied at a distance from the weld seam to produce a compressive stress on an inner surface of the weld seam, so as to regulate a macroscopic compressive stress. The method avoids the use of ribs for reinforcement, greatly reducing labor intensity and a construction period. Compared with conventional heat treatment methods, the method greatly reduces deformation near the welding seam and transfers maximum deformation to a non-weld seam area. By applying the auxiliary heating and strictly controlling a time interval between the primary and auxiliary heating, the structure can be improved while significantly regulating the welding residual stress. The method can optimize local heat treatment effects, and produces a small tensile stress or even compressive stress on the inner surface of the weld seam, and fundamentally solves the problem of leakage caused by stress corrosion cracking at weld seams of large-sized equipment.
