Abstract:
A light-emitting device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a drive substrate; a plurality of light-emitting elements that comprise compound semiconductors and are positioned in the form of an array on one surface of the drive substrate, the plurality of light-emitting elements each having a first surface that faces the drive substrate and a second surface that is on the opposite side from the first surface and serves as a light exit surface; and a growth substrate that forms a boundary with the compound semiconductors constituting the light-emitting elements, the boundary being free of lattice mismatches, and the growth substrate being in contact with the second surfaces of the plurality of light-emitting elements.
