Abstract:
A light distribution control device (6) generates a processed image by adding pixel lines with a luminance value higher than a predetermined threshold value to end portions in a vehicle width direction in an image (IMG1) based on a first imaging device (4), extracts a processing area containing a preceding vehicle from the processed image, generates an extracted image by applying, to the processing area, a process of extracting the high-luminance pixels using the threshold value, defines a light shielded area overlapping the preceding vehicle on the basis of pairs of the high-luminance pixels included in the extracted image, and determines a light distribution pattern (PTN) including the shielded area.
