Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a laminated porous membrane which can shorten electrolyte injection time in a battery manufacturing process; and a battery separator comprising the laminated porous membrane. The laminated porous membrane comprises a polyolefin porous membrane, and a porous layer on at least one side surface of the polyolefin porous membrane, wherein: the porous layer includes inorganic particles and an organic synthetic resin component; and a large-diameter average particle size (A) [μm] and a small-diameter average particle size (B) [μm] of the inorganic particles as determined by the method described in the specification satisfy a specific relational expression.
