Abstract:
A jig device 100 for a workpiece W in a machine tool includes a holding mechanism 110 for holding the workpiece in a cantilevered state, and a main axial-direction support mechanism 120 which includes at least one main axial-direction support member 121 disposed so as to face the workpiece from the opposite side to a main shaft 200 of the machine tool in a main axial direction, with respect to the workpiece that is being held in a cantilevered state by the holding mechanism, and which includes a main axial-direction driving means 125 for driving the main axial-direction support member in the main axial direction between a main axial-direction support position in contact with the workpiece and a main axial-direction retracted position spaced apart from the workpiece, wherein the main axial-direction support mechanism is configured to be capable of changing a contacting position at which the main axial-direction support member comes into contact with the workpiece, in an orthogonal plane that is orthogonal to the main axial direction.
