Abstract:
Provided are an iron-based soft magnetic composite powder for dust cores that has high fluidity while having an insulation layer, and a method for easily producing the iron-based soft magnetic composite powder for dust cores. This iron-based soft magnetic composite powder for dust cores includes coated particles in which an insulation layer is formed on the particle surfaces of iron-based soft magnetic particles. The insulation layer has a first coating layer that is formed from aluminum tripolyphosphate positioned on the particle surfaces, and a second coating layer that is layered on the first coating layer and is formed from a silicone resin. The coating ratio of the insulation layer on the particle surfaces is 85% or greater.
