Abstract:
Provided are an inspection device and an inspection method with which the efficiency of inspection operation for a security system can be further improved. An inspection device (16) is provided with a third connector (18), a first switch (19), a second switch (20), and a jack (21). The third connector (18) is connected to a first connector (7) on a controller (5) side instead of a second connector (8) on an electric lock (3) side. The first switch (19), the second switch (20), and the jack (21) are connected to the third connector (18). The first switch (19) switches the state of a first signal that indicates the open/close state of a door (2). The second switch (20) switches the state of a second signal that indicates the lock/unlock state of the electric lock (3). A probe (23) of a tester (17) for detecting a control signal output from the controller (5) is connected to the jack (21).
