Abstract:
Provided is an input device that can provide a click sensation to a person operating an operation body, when the operation body has been subjected to a vertical press operation or a tilt operation. An input device (1A) comprises a substrate (91), a fixed electrode (92), a fixed magnet (4), a movable electrode (7), a holder (3), and an operation body (2). The fixed electrode (92) is provided to the substrate (91). The fixed magnet (4) is positioned in a ring shape facing the substrate (91). The movable electrode (7) is positioned between the substrate (91) and the fixed magnet (4). The fixed magnet (4) and the substrate (9) are fixed to the holder (3). When the operation body (2) has received a tilt operation, on the side to which the operation body (2) has tilted, the movable electrode (7) moves away from the fixed magnet (4) and the gap between the movable electrode (7) and the substrate (91) narrows, and on the opposite side from the side to which the operation body (2) has tilted, the movable electrode (7) is attracted to the fixed magnet (4) and a prescribed gap (H1) is maintained, and the movable electrode (7) tilts relative to the substrate (91).
