Abstract:
This initial excitation circuit is electrically connected to the excitation coil of a power generator to excite the excitation coil during the start-up of the power generator and comprises: an input terminal connected to a power supply supplying a DC power; an output terminal connected to the excitation coil via a brush and a spring which are possessed by the power generator; a breaker connected between the input terminal and the output terminal; and a control circuit for controlling the breaker.
