Abstract:
The present technology relates to an information processing device that makes it possible to more easily determine timing for maintenance, using event data. The information processing device comprises a state estimation unit that estimates a state of a grindstone, using event data from an event sensor, and outputs the estimation result, the event sensor outputting, as the event data, a temporal change of an electric signal obtained by photoelectric conversion of an optical signal. The present technology can be applied to, for example, an information processing system that notifies timing for maintenance of a grindstone of a machine tool.
