Abstract:
[Problem] To propose new or improved technology which ensures the security of a machine-learning model by means of federated training and further improves inference accuracy. [Solution] Provided is an information processing device which comprises: a training unit which trains an inference model by using federated training; and an acquisition unit which acquires, from a plurality of terminals, privacy protection data obtained by performing privacy protection processing on local data obtained by each of the plurality of terminals, wherein the training unit trains the inference model on the basis of the privacy protection data and distributes, to the plurality of terminals, information pertaining to the inference model including hyperparameters of the inference model on the basis of the trained result, the acquisition unit acquires update information, which is obtained by adopting the local data as training data and training the inference model, about the inference model from the plurality of terminals, and the training unit uses the update information to update the inference model.
